Las actividades organizadas para el congreso ese día incluyen: tres tutoriales en simultanea: “Internet of things: great challenges and new opportunities”, “Techniques for Evaluating Reliability, Robustness and Resilience in Power Systems”, “Generator Protection Setting Criteria According To IEEE C37.102 and Nerc Standards”. Tendremos también la sesión de apertura del congreso con la conferencia plenaria “ Las Smart Cities como integradoras tecnológicas”.

2nd IEEE Colombian Conference on Robotics and Automation - CCRA 2018

The 2018 IEEE 2nd Colombian Conference on Robotics and Automation (CCRA 2018) is the second edition of the biannual technical summit related to robotics and automation organized by the IEEE RAS Colombian chapter. CCRA 2018 will be held in Barranquilla, Atlántico, Colombia, on November 1-3, 2018, with the support of the IEEE Caribbean Colombian Subsection. The venue for CCRA 2018 is Universidad del Norte.

CCRA’s objective is to gather academic and industrial Colombian robotics and automation community to discuss advances in robotics, automation and related field such as control engineering, and to discuss how to transfer this knowledge into the society.

As part of CCRA 2018, this year, the event will include a Doctoral Symposium were current research in the areas of the conference will be presented by doctoral students, in order to show ongoing innovations in the scholar community and discuss its potential impact in industry.

Paper submission deadline: August 31th, 2018 (Extended!)
Notifications: September 24th, 2018.
Camera ready version submission deadline: October 12th, 2018.
CCRA 2018 dates: November 1-3, 2018.


- Contributions

IEEE CCRA 2018 seeks for English written high-quality papers presenting original results in all areas of robotics, automation, and related fields such as machine learning, computer vision and control engineering. Spanish written contributions can be submitted but will not be considered for publication. All submissions should use the IEEE Conference Template, US letter size format, with a maximum of 6 pages including references and figures. The template can be found inhttps://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html. The papers must be sent via Easy Chair through the following link: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ieeeccra2018. The proceedings of CCRA 2018 will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library.

There will be also special track for Ph.D. students. More details in the website.

ANDESCON 2018: Last Call for Papers

LAST CALL FOR PAPERS IEEE ANDESCON 2018 HOTEL INTERCONTINENTAL - CALI COLOMBIA AUGUST 22 to 24 ANDESCON is the biannual Technical and Scientic Conference of the Andean Council of the IEEE that brings together IEEE professionals and scientists from the Andean countries. The ninth edition of this IEEE event will be held in the wonderful city of Santiago de Cali in Colombia. The slogan "Technology and Innovation for Andean Industry" defines the objective of this edition.
